Bourbon / Cigar match?

Any of the small batch Collection Bourbon!

Knob Creek is my #1 choice, 100 proof aged 9 years.

Booker's is a close second, the last bottle I bought was 125 proof aged 8 years.

I'll drink this bourbon with any medium to full flavored/bodied cigar, it'd likely be a bit much for lighter flavored/ bodied cigars.

I know Crown Royal isn't a Bourbon, but it goes very well with a cigar, Doesn't overpower the smoke like some stronger Bourbons can.

Knob Creek is awesome, especially on those long winter nights.

I also like Woodford Reserve if I am in the mood for something milder.

Some one gifted me a bottle of 1792 Ridgemont Reserve Bourbon. Also very nice.

I usually stay away from drinking any of these when I am smoking as the taste could be overpowering. If I was going to smoke one though, I would agree with demented on a full bodied smoke.

i discovered this bourbon called Eagle Rare. I have a bottle of the 10-year single barrel. it's a really really good bourbon.
I had a nice glass of that with that Opus X I had yesterday. I highly recommend it.

I love Evan Williams Single Barrel it is a very smooth and rich small batch and it is also a very good value per $ bourbon. Like it with a Exalibur # 1 myself.

Knob Creek is excellent-Pappy's 20 year old is also excellent(but pricey) and my sister gave me a bottle of Eagle Rare for Christmas-haven't opened it yet but sure is tempting. My everyday drink is Maker's Mark and Knob Creek is the weekend special-I smoke cigars and pipes with bourbon-it's all good.

Second that!!!!!

Elmer T. Lee
Elijah Craig 12yo
Pappy 15yo- I like this better than the 20 and it's cheaper too.
Evan Williams SB
Woodford Reserve
Buffalo Trace
WT 101 for an everyday pour.

All of these match up good with a maduro.

Blanton's Single Barrel
Woodford Reserve Master's Collection Four Grain
Rare Eagle (Wild Turkey's single barrel entry)

Had some Old Forester Birthday Bourbon last night that should go well with cigars, but haven't tried it with the cigars yet. Haven't had the spare change yet to put up a bottle of Booker's but have been eying a bottle at the local store for a month or so!!

I am a Makers Mark fan for my everyday pour. Woodford is always nice. I agree, Blanton's is excellent. Just picked up some 1792 Ridgemont Reserve yesterday...Not bad. Reasonably priced also.

Maker's Mark! Very smooth and complex, nothing comes close in it's price range, which is very modest. Knob Creek is also a great bourbon and very reasonable.

Anyone here ever have Bulliet? I think it technically is not a bourbon as it has a significant rye component.

It has a sorta citrusy bite to it. Real interesting and good flavor, different than anything else I've tried. If you get tired of too many vanilla-y bourbons, pick this up.

I dunno how it would be with a cigar.

Drank a fifth of Knob Creek last night while chatting in PM and smoking a couple Ashton VSG's.

That is in my opinion, the best combo!
