Burned your lips on a nub tool?

Oh yea....I use a czech tool, which is all metal, it's actually a pipe tool, for nubbing....and well... turned it a certain way...the rod was hot...and my upper lip has a nice straight burn in it now. Pretty much ended my want to nub that sucker...

Be careful if you use something similar.

I burnt myself on the first RP 90 I had. It got to small to hold or touch but I still had it in my mouth when I took the last draw on it it burnt my pretty good. I didn't even relize that I had a blister til the next day. But it got me right on my bottom lip.
 
Haven't burn my lips yet. But a couple weeks ago I was on the train and had a burning experience. Was wearing overalls to work that day, going down the track trying to check a couple of things on my paperwork and there was nowhere to lay my cigar. So I kept it in my mouth while trying to talk to my engineer. The thing was down to 2 inches left and it fell out of my mouth and down behind the bid of my overalls. I played hell trying to get that thing out of there. Didn't wanna stand up for fear it may drop a bit lower, didn't want that. The result was 2 nice wholes burnt in my shirt, a blister on my chest, and 3 burns on my fingers.
 
Ouch! I haven't burned my lips yet, but did burn my fingers a couple of times before I got my Xikar scissors!

Hate to laugh at harm befalling a fellow gorilla, but that is some funny s--t. Hope you didn't end up in the burn unit -- or, worse, with a burnt unit.

Tkoepp and I came pretty damn close to while finishing a 1492, had it on a "Henrys Tool-nub tool".

I believe Allanb3369 has the record with the 10 year old partagas, it was down to a piece of dental floss and he was still workin it! :r

The record was broken by jbaily on this last shack...wasn't anything left but the ash, and tooth pick.

I laughed too after I got the thing out of my clothes. lol Just glad I didn't burn the tool with the nub :chk
