I always get it directly from the B&M, and make sure it's triple refined. burns better with the least impurities/flavor. i think mine's vector, but not sure.

Edit: The Vector fuel (linked) is 5X refined. Always has worked well for me!

If you don't have a B&M go to a Williams and Sonoma. Most of them sell Vector 5+ times refined butane. It is by far the best to get and it comes in a huge can so it will last a while.

I've always used the cheap-o Ronson in all my lighters and it works decently. My B&M carries it but you can buy some at Wal-Mart or other stores that sell tobacco products.

I get cans of Ronson at the dollar store for $1.

You have to ask for it at our local Williams Sonoma. They keep it in the back but it's a very good price.

What brand of lighter are you asking about refilling? If its a Ronson Jet lite then Ronson fuel from Walmart is fine.
If it is a higher priced, high end lighter still under warranty I would try to find the brand of fuel that is recommended by the lighter Mfg.

Be careful of Ronson if you have a good lighter, it might plug it up.
