Camacho Libery 2007

Cubatobaco

Hiding outside the Shack
I received box number 534 and decided to grab the coffin farthest to the left (#10,890). I could only stare at how beautiful the wrapper colors were on this 11/18 format Barber Pole. There was a little bit of a firm draw from the intial cut with a pre-light draw taste of fruit. This is not your typical Camacho taste. I am only through the first 1/3 and it is remarkable. There is an abundance of flavors (cedar, cocoa, spice, and a slight tobacco taste). I will update this after I finish. Too bad I did not have a cam in my shop to share the experience.

I'm curious about these as I love 11/18s. I was down in ocean city, MD recently and they had them at a local B&M--asking somewhere around $20. They were beautifully packaged in the red white and blue coffins. I hadnt heard anything about them, so I didnt cough up what seemed like a lot of dough.

Dont know much about these camachos but i have a liberty(thats the one in a usa flag coffin, right?) thats been sitting in my humi for like I believe 3 years now. maybe 2..anyways maybe i'll give it a try.

I've been to that b&m. The guy who works/lives there is a bit strange. On the back of my credit card it reads "Check ID" in the sign block and he wanted me to sign the recipt "Check ID". He says this is because I could despute the charge if I signed my name and not what was exactly on the back of my card. I laughed and he looked at me like No, seriously.

Weirdo

Senior's Cigars or the one a bit further down the street toward Fenwick?

*looks at watch* Two hours later, must be a good long smoke. ;)

Sorry Irons....lol!!! I smoked the rest and got busy at work.

Now the end of my review. The 2/3 was overpowered with an abundance of chocolate. I mean it damn near tasted like a Hershey's Kiss. The cigar stayed pretty powerful through this part, but never took away from the taste. The final 3rd returned as the first 1/3 (First post). This is probably due to the shape of the 11/18. I would have to give this cigar a 90/100. The burn was even all the way through and very sturdy. The firm draw loosened up after the first 1/3 and gave me an optimal amount of smoke to enjoy this beauty of a cigar. I highly recommend this cigar, even if you are a CC smoker, such as myself.

:ss

The latter--cant remember the name, but it was near maybe 94th st on the corner across from Bull On the Beach and the Superfresh.

I did also go to Senor cigars and liked that place more. I dont know. The guy there was low key, which I like. They had a decnet selection (including Opus X).

sorry to hijack this thread...

Yeah, I liked Senor's better too. I look sorta young (and actually am, 19) but the guy on the 94th street cigars treated me like some little punk, which in fair-ness I assume he gets more than not, but even asking questions about what he had, I got a few condisending responses. The guy at Senor's helped me out, talked with him for about 40 minutes. They too had Liberty's that were plooming.

There are several online places that have this cigar almost all charge $14. Just google camacho liberty. You can still find 2006 too.
