CAO anyone??

Haven't tried that many but the Brazilia Piranha's are great, as are the Cariocas (but they were sold out everywhere when I tried to buy some more to bring home :/ ).

The Criollo pampas before 2005 (I've only tried one) where great, and if I could find them I'd buy a box or two. The later Criollo pampas doesn't taste as good. (don't know if they changed the blend, but they changed from 40RG to 38RG, maybe that could account for the difference?)

The Black's are pretty good too, come to think about it ;)

personally I believe CAO sucks. If they were $2 cigars it would more of a budget smoke, but when I can buy something WAY better for the same price as a CAO, why would I buy the CAO???

*edit, i should say this. I like trying new things. So buying CAOs in order to try them out is perfectly fine, but buying them as your "go to" smoke is a bit of a stretch for me.

I smoke the Brazilia and Italia's occasionally. But the best CAO is the one I walk past to get to the Padron's!:r:bn

LMFAO... that made me laugh Bob... :D

I would say for me the Brazilia is the best hands down... I like the Italita and America if the mood strikes me...

The gold, gold maduro, anything anniversary is crap. I do have an Mx2 and a Cx2 that I need to try before I pass judgment on them.

CAO is like Gurkha for me... I love 'em or hate 'em... nothing in between at all. There are some good ones but I would say less than half are anything special...

My first Sopranos Associate got me to say "Damn, I'm going to keep on smoking cigars for the foreseeable future."

Granted, if I had a Padron I would have said the same thing with more emphasis. And if I had an Italia, I would have complained because it was like smoking a nutty grass.

Anyway, Sopranos and Brazilias for me - Golds are good for a milder smoker.

Personally, I've tried most of the C.A.O. marcas, and although there are some fantastic smokes there, I think the best I've had would be the Gold Maduro. It's got a well balanced array of flavors.
