CAO - How is it pronounced?

I pronounce it slightly different - Tah-TWAH'-hey

It's very possible you are correct. I base my pronunciation on the way a Spanish buddy says it but he also pronounce young as "jung" when asked how he likes his women.

I think we are on the same page here.
I just roll the "too- AH'" together and get TWAH' - 3 syllables vs. 4

Do you pronounce it PA-SEENO?!?!?!?!:chk:tu

Since we are asking how about Tatuaje. I have been looking for these at local B&M and have no clue on how to pronounce it.:hn
Thats a great question i have heard it pronounced 20 different ways by 10 different people, i dont think anybody really knows how to pronounce it. I just say "tats" and everybody knows what i mean. I would love to meet pete johnson and slap him upside the head for putting a name on a cigar that no one can pronouce, i bet he cant even say it right. ;)

P.S. guys im just kidding about slapping pete johnson.

Many do. It just seems that way because so many mis-pronounce it.

For the record:
Tah-too- AH'- hey

I also found this link with an audio of how to pronounce it.

I made it to Pipes Ltd. in Valley Hills mall on Friday, but totally forgot to pick one of these CAO's up. I've heard good things about them. I also got to meet Greg (NCRadioMan). Seems like a pretty nice guy, no matter what everyone else says about him :D

I was looking for something from the CAO gold line the other day and pronounced it COW. The guy figured out what I was looking for after a few seconds telling me that it was indeed pronounced SEE A OH. I sort of tried to act like a knew what I was talking about saying, "oh i've just always called it that" or something like that. Don't think it worked though, but I sure felt silly afterthat. If I had the opportunity, I would've asked the same question you did.

Edited to say:
Ok, I accidently replyed in the wrong place. Just my second post in the forum though. I'll get it right next time

a while ago someone posted a link that had WAV files of the pronounciation of all these weird cigar names-don't remember if it was here or somewhere else, who it was or the thread title-maybe someone will chime in?
