CAO L'Anniversaire

Young Ape
this cigar i got from gnukfu when he bombed me (gave me a "welcome to cs" gift).

i tried to do a little pre-smoke examination before i smoked it and from what i got i knew this would be a great cigar. the scent of the wrapper was sort of a tea scent, non flavored if you will, or just a tea leaf. the color of the wrapper was brown as are most of my cigars (but i have noticed darker colors), this cigar didn't have any markings other than those of a wrapped cigar. the feeling wasn't rough but it wasn't smooth and it felt as if it were tightly wrapped.
after my pre-smoke examination i grabbed a cup of coffee and added one of my favorite creamers (chocolate caramel), cut the end of the cigar, lit it up and started smoking. the taste was sort of an unflavored coffee with just cream and a little bit of sugar in it, afterwards i noticed and changed a little to a hazelnut coffee flavor (change was not drastic though). the strength was smooth, it wasn't till the very end that it got a little harsh which has been my experience with all the cigars i've had (except for the paso doble...thanks dad:tu). the scent of the smoke was almost exaclty how it tasted which is all that i could think to describe the scent. there was almost no heat on my fingers and in my mouth till the end which i like. the draw was perfect, no blockage at all. i smoked this cigar to the near end of it and it stayed pretty consistent, it didn't get strong/harsh till the end which i like.
as some side notes: as i smoked the cigar i noticed it burned evenly up to a point then it got a little out of hand but i smoked it more and it got back up to speed. i also put up a picture to indicate how long i smoked it till the ash gave way and a picture to indicate how long i smoked it till i put it down.

that is the end of my review for this cigar. i want to thank gnukfu for this great cigar and i want to thank pitdog for the document that i used to review this cigar.

P.S. if there is a place that i should be putting cigar reviews lemme know because i am still new to this and i'm getting the feeling that i shouldn't be putting these into "General Discussion"

so looks like my second photo exceeds the limit so lemme just say that i almost smoked this cigar to the very end. that should give you a general idea.

thanks again you guys.

x2. That is definitely one of my favorite cigars. I love cameroon wrappers in general, and this cigar is exceptional.
