Catalina Island Wine Festival Sept. 27 - Anyone Ever Go?

My wife and I are thinking about going to this event next weekend and I thought I'd just check here and see if anyone's ever been: http://www.ocws.org/newsletters/catalina.htm

It looks decent and fun and we really had a great time on Catalina (an hour offshore of L.A.) last month. I'm just looking for any feedback and wondering if we should make the trek again.

We'll be bringing cigars to enjoy with the wines for sure; let me know if you plan on going too and we'll meet up.
 
Looks like a great event, wish I'd heard of it sooner, the wife loves wine, I love catalina (and her)...

Looks like they don't take reservations after Aug.25th according to the website though...

Go to 'User Controls', 'Edit your details' and it’ll be toward the top.

I've never been there for the Wine Festival..but i love the beach off to north on way to the casino. I spent countless hours just hanging out and reflecting on life there.
 
It's unfortunately been over 2 years since I've enjoyed that beach, but I do love it so there....and to all my fellow Bruins in this thread, If things don't get better soon, I'm gonna NEED some time on that beach with some booze and cigars!!!!!! LOL....
