Is the whole SOL (I assume that stands for @%#& out of luck) a Texas thing? I had never seen that before today when I got an email from a guy in Texas about some cigars ;).

I would happily pay 12.99 for some of the larger vitolas or the sharks. Everything is relative.

I guess it could be a Texas thing, I never really thought about it before but I've heard it all my life. I'm a fan of the smaller vitolas (46 and 50) so if I come across any of the larger ones in my searches I'll pick them up for you.
 
Ah yes !!

Anejos and Fuente Holiday packages are all out.

Probably be all gone by the weekend to.
 
Stopped at my B&M yesterday and they didn't have their Fuente shipment yet.

However, they did have some great new Padron Samplers as well as the Don Pepin White, Blue and Black label sampler.

The Padron Sampler has the 1964's, 1926's and 2 of the thousand series as well. Just a great Padron sampler.

I will be back since he was expecting his Fuente sampler in soon...probably Thursday since that is his normal delivery day it seems.

The B&M closest to my house NEVER has a good deal on anything.
Prices are always astronomical.
The dude wants $8 for a Hemi Short Story.
$30 for them little Opus perfectos.

Yah... right!

Small wonder his inventory never moves.
 
Don't even have to check my workplace for them because we only get opus in and never have gotten the anejo. :tg
 
I was at my local B&M here in downtown Seattle yesterday. They don't have it yet, but did say they will be charging 100% over MSRP. :mad:

Oh well, I'll keep waiting for my Holt's package, which last time I check is still on back order. :c

Stopped at the B&M today and they had their Anejos in. Said they just got them in yesterday. They also had a box of Work of Art Maduros and a box of Hemi. Signature Maduros. I picked up 2 Sharks, a No. 55, a No. 46 and a WOAM, all for $42.27. All at retail and no limits. I'm sure they'll be all gone by the weekend.

I called my B&M and said they're getting them next week and that they'll give me a call when they come in :dr
 
Went to my favorite cigar store today (2 Brothers in Plano) and they had the Maduro Hemmingways and Anejos in stock. The owner said, "you can have 3 of each if you want," as he pulled the boxes out of a locker. I took him up on 3 of the Sharks but decided to spend the rest of my laundered funds on LG Small batch cigars (2). Definitely not in my usual cheap cigar mode, but what a sweet 5er!! :dr
 
Stopped in to mine today they had the anejos 48s hidden and they only allow 1 perday but i was told they have some sharks and even a box from last year which I really want but they wont open it for a few more days. i think i may buy one more 48 and then spend the rest of my days collecting the sharks. prices are around 12-13 so not great but not bad.
 
Because of this thread I stopped by my B&M today. The anejos had just arrived.The owner had to take the plastic off of the box so I could buy some. I got 3 and my friend got two.They were only $8.95 and I didn't ask about a limit. He only got the one box of 48's today.

Nice score! That is an awesome price. It seems like they rolled a lot of the 48's and 77's this year and almost no 50's.

I thought there was going to be a serious Shark shortage this season since a usually very reliable vendor didn't have any and never got any.

But I'm hearing of a lot of local shops opening up boxes of Sharks.. and I know that Holt's has opened (who knows how many they received) at least two so far.

I like the Sharks if only because I don't have to waste my time removing the cedar.. :r
