Cigar/beverage pairings

not that I ever have any on hand, but when I've had the opportunities... Port and Cognac are my favorites

Remy XO and a good cigar is a good time that's awfully hard to beat
Also, a good rum, (especially Havana Club omg good!) pairs well, for non contraband rums I really like flor de cana 12 yr

Picked up some home made root beer at the Amish market to go with an Indian Tabac Super Fuente Bellicosa.

Recently I have been drinking my favorite beer Samuel Adams Octoberfest with any cigar.

Best combo I have had thus far is Johnny Walker Blue Label with a Cohiba. :tu

Tried this stuff, I think, as a result of somebody's signature file here at CL. It's sweet! On the rocks or with diet Coke, I like it with a cigar!

Another really good, but VERY strange combo I've had is....


Orange Juice with a Sancho Panza Double Maduro. I think these are very complimenting to each other. The tangyness of the OJ really brings out the chocolatey sweetness in the cigar.

Drambuie with any cigar,,,,I've tried just about every other combination of drink and cigar,,,so far, Drambuie just makes the taste of any cigar better. One sip per 3 drags on said cigar,,,perfection!!!:cb

I just drink beer with cigars. Never really put much thought into it. Maduros go well for me with heavy beers, porters and stouts. Lighter lagers or ales I smoke with sungrowns or naturals.

Beer with cigars for me, too. Coffee in the a.m. A cold Mountain Dew or Dr. Pepper goes well. I find iced tea a little bitter with smokes.

I think warm chocolate milk would be good .

Not a Dew fan, but I had some fountain Dr. Pepper a few weeks ago with a cigar and it was a good pairing. I was actually shocked.
