I was wondering where to start and look for getting cigars for when I open my shop. Is there a direction I can be pointed?

I'd like to suggest cigargroup.com
They've got a list of cigar makers websites.

Also most Yellow Pages list cigar wholesalers, but they're usually middlemen, it's best to buy direct and boost the bottom line.

You should look into the RTDA. As a member you can get access to magazines and info that only dealers can get.
