Cigars & Las Vegas

In early January I am taking my son to Las Vegas for a few days to celebrate his 21st birthday. I think I promised him this when he was like 15 or so he says I did....yea they pull that kind of thing when they know your memory is going.

Anyway, would like some recommendations for good cigar shops that are at least somewhat reasonably priced ( I know it's Vegas) Also, I haven't been to Las Vegas since I took up the leaf. I would assume you can smoke most anywhere there but wondered what kind of experiences any of you have had smoking cigars in the casinos..

Thanks

where ya staying in vegas .. there a decent shop on freemont street and then there is the casa fuente shop they got a good mojito and the cigars but expensive :SM

A must see at the Rio for shows (The Scintas) spelling?
Cigars and steaks at Del Frisco's # 702-796-0063.
Also the hoover dam

You can smoke anywhere...anytime. Unless you want to pay the really high prices at the Casa I would bring my own cigars.

YUP .....thats one of the best things about Vegas besides the girls!

Las Vegas is still a "free state" unlike most of the rest of the country!

You have to get by Casa Fuente and pick up at least one $Casa Fuente$. Since that's the only way you can get 'em!

Agree !

But this is a must take. Go to Casa Fuente. It is in the Ceasars Forum Shops. Buy two cigars and let the hottie that is there light it for the both of you. Get a few drinks and smoke some nice cigars and watch all the girls going in and out of Victoria Secrets !

He is only 21 once. Plus you want to have fun as well.

I'm booking a flight to Vegas right now! Does Case Fuente rent rooms? :D

Stop by the Tropicana. They have a nice little cigar room and bar at the rear of the casino. Not as upscale as Casa Fuente, but they have a decent selection of smokes at much more reasonable prices, (for Vegas), along with a nice little bar and some comfy leather chairs.

I was in Vegas in November. There is a great little Cigar Shop on the Strip called Don Pablo's. http://www.donpablocigars.com/ They have a veritable factory in there, about 15 Cuban's and Dominicans rolling cigars right in the shop. It was fun to watch them roll the cigars right there in the front of the store. The aromas alone makes the trip worthwhile.

The owner of the shop told me that the tobacco is grown from seeds smuggled out of Cuba in the early 1960s. Some of the leaves are cured in liqueurs and cognacs, while the plain Jane, Cuban-rolled variety sell for $3.50 a stogie. You have got to go see this shop.

Great recommendation.

Casa Fuente is also a MUST visit. If only for the cocktail waitresses. WOW!

Man thanks for the great ideas....I will try to catch everyone of them...I'm sure when I show him the pictures Casa Fuente will be on his list!
