It seems like there are brands out there that pretty much EVERYBODY has tried, you know the big named, classic companies that have been around forever.

Are there any brands that you just haven't tried that is kind of surprising?

For me I've never had a.........

Cohiba (NC or CC) actually have never smoked a cuban.
Arturo Fuente of any type other then a crapy curly thingy. :hn

Seems like you can get so caught up in the whole "new" company's and boutique stuff that you forget to try the bigger names.

I've only been smoking for 6 months so I'm sure my time will come. :ss
 
I hadnt been on here in a while, but when I came back a few weeks ago I have read a ton about Taboo and Illusione. Both cigars look intriguing. In the CC's, too many to list.

Nat Sherman, I've been saying I am going to try one of these forever but no where locally carries them and I always forget to throw an order in for a single when ordering other stuff online. Almost picked one up when I was in NYC but I posted about how rude the staff was in there and how I left after 30 seconds. :tu
 
There are many long standing brands that I've never tried. I've never had the NC version of a Cuban brand (HDM, Cohiba, Montecristo, etc). The CCs I've never had are Robaina, Quai D'orsay, Cuaba. I only recently had my first La Flor Dominicana and it was quite good.
 
Never had a Gurkha. After reading here . . . I'm not sure I will. I have a friend who loves them, but he and I don't get together that often due to distance.

Never had any CC or Opus X, but I'm going to start looking for a single of one or the other though to keep in my humidor for the day my Son is born. Supposed to be around Dec 7th
 
Way too many to name because I've only been doing this a little over a year. One I haven't tried but will in the very near future is a Davidoff. I'm curious to see if they are all they're cracked up to be.

I was there last week. I don't like the employees much either. The place is entirely too stuffy and the people that work there don't know much about cigars at all.

The lounge doesn't have any comfortable seating and you have to pay to get down there.

Finally, the selection is terrible.

The only good thing about that place is that it is close to the park (the one right by the F--bryant?) and you can go there on a nice day and enjoy a smoke.
