Taking my second to last class (eBusiness), and I'm reading an article that refers to traditional B&Ms that also conduct online businesses as a "C&M". Don't know if that has been coined in here before, but tought it interesting.

I just think it is cool that in an article you are reading for class it mentions cigars at all!

None of my physics books ever did.

I guess I never realized B&M could refer to anything but cigar retailers! I guess I have a one track mind.

Ok a two track mind.
:ss

Pretty common also with banks now that there are all the internet loan places.

The term Click & Mortar has been around for a long time in the IT industry. I guess it was a logical transition from the Brick & Mortar industry.

Why don't we just call them Stogies and Mortar?

Oh wait....bad idea.

anyway...C&M works great...but what about giants like JR where the real store and the online store don't have the same deals (WHICH I ABSOLUTELY FREAKING HATE!)

From what I understand, the JRs in DC is nothing like the big one. Haven't been to the big one, but the one in DC is tiny without a smoking lounge area. They don't have the same deals either.

C&M makes a lot of sense to me.
Online has changed a lot of business models. I think you either change with the times or lose revenues.

Like right now JR has a deal on an Opus X Fuente Humidor with a free box of A. Fuente Gran Reservas...for 175.00

Go to the store...225 for the humi.
