The Contest

Cloaca Maxima literally means the Great Sewer. Just answer a few simple questions.

  1. The city of origin of the sewer lizard urban hoax?
  2. Franoise Cooperman authored an article entitled Sewer Rats in what publication?
  3. The name of the author of The Great Stink?
  4. Do sewer rats have healthier immune systems than their squeaky clean cousins?
  5. What is the life span of the average rat?
  6. What is it that the more you take away from it the bigger it gets?
  7. Which weighs more? A pound of sewage sludge or sixteen ounces of rat crap?
  8. The susceptibility of various pipe materials to fires should be considered when planning storm sewer, sanitary sewer or culvert projects. What laboratory standard is used to judge these tests?
  9. Have you ever contributed to a sewer?
The Contest Prizes

Two chests known as Chest A and Chest B. One chest will contain a sampler box of 9 Davidoff vitola's and the other 5 putrid steaming artifacts harvested from the great sewer otherwise known as dog rockets. The chest contents will not be known until the recipients receive them. :D

The Contest Rules
  • Honor system - No collaborating with others.
  • Participants must have sent at least one bomb to a member of CS and post the details of this bomb. I.e. The name of the CS member and date of the bomb along with there contest answers.
  • The winner must choose either Chest A or Chest B and then select another member to receive the remaining chest. You will not know what is in the chests until you receive them.
  • Upon receipt the winner of the Davidoff sampler must bomb a noob* with a five cigar gift immediately and post said gift DC number in this thread.

    *noob - A member of CS who joined on or after August 1, 2007.

  • You must tell the noob receiving this gift to post receipt of said gift in this thread.
  • A moderator knows which chest (A or B) that contains the Davidoff sampler and the answers to the contest questions.
  • Employees, slaves, and immediate family members of Cloaca Maxima are not eligible to participate in this contest.
  • Participants must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Participants may post as many times as they wish.
  • The first participant to post the correct contest answers and required information is the winner.
  • In the event of a dispute regarding answers to the contest questions the Grand Curmudgeon's decision will be final.

Example contest post:

I bombed "CS member name" on "Date".

If I win I want chest "A or B" and "CS member name" to receive chest "A or B".

If I receive the Davidoff sampler I will immediately bomb "CS noob name" with five cigars of my choosing.

Got this PM from MACMS a while back saying... you won! Was kind of busy and confused so skimmed it and said... cool! Got another PM from Erratum which confused me as I was either going to be happy or envious.

Clicked the link and ... then got busy so did not realize what was what.

Box came yesterday!

Wow! Erratum does all the hard work and I get the prize. Hardly seems fair...
