Club Stogies Stogies...

Many of you got in on the Club Stogie banded cigar bundles.
I put mine in the humi and smoked my first one this weekend.

I purchased the torps. It had a nice wrapper a few veins,
nice shine, firm feel but not hard. It clipped clean and
seemed to have an easy draw. I fired it up. At first the
taste was a little light. After it burned about a half inch
it started getting more flavor. The draw being light gave a
good amount of smoke but I would not describe it as thick.
I'm not good at flavors and being that I was really tired
when I smoked it I was not thinking too hard on it anyway.
The burn was very even, ash stayed on for about and inch
before I would tap it off. On the over all a decent smoke,
nothing to rave about but not one I would toss either. One
thing I did notice is that with the easy draw that as it
got shorter, if you drew hard on it, it would get a little
hot. Had to relax on the heavy draws the last third.
Of course, the next one might be different.....;)

Well, I smoked another one. After reading my review I will have to say the second was like the first. Since I was able to smoke a different cigar every night last week, it left the most after taste and the most morning breath of all the smokes I had.

Not a bad cigar for the price, I would not call them a favorite, but I do smoke a couple a month. The novelty of the band is what I was looking for the most. Being they were not total "rockets" was a +

Just my $.02

They are not bad and in fact the last one that I had was better.
Either there was a really good one in the bundle or they are
getting better with time.

I would buy them again, if nothing else, just for the band.
