Ok guys after much thought and discussion this hopefully will clarify the rules and how this is done!! I was gone for a week and it helped clear my mind. PLEASE voice and concerns or suggestions!!


1)$1.50 per Chances. Max of 10 Chances per person per drawing.$1 to the pot, .50$ for Paypal fees, Shipping and/or rolled into next Drawing
2)$100 Prize Cap to purchase a Sampler or Cash Prize of $100
(If there is $100 in the pot)
3)Payment Options-Paypal or Snailmail
4)Numbers will be Randomly Assigned
5)Drawing will be done by me using a Random Number Generator
6) Sign-up start on Fridays and will be a drawing on the following WED.
7) Highest Number Drawn Wins

Example of Drawing

for every $1.50 you pay you will receive a "Chance" at the Prize.....I will randomly assign numbers from 1-the total number of chances sold...i.e. last raffle had 90 chances sold so I assigned one number for every chance you purchased...5 chances--6,19,56,71,88 would be examples of your numbers. I would again take those same numbers and use a random number generator generate another set of numbers, one number for each of your chances i.e.
6--10
19--3
56--76
71--22
88--59


The person holding number 56 would have won this raffle with 76 being the highest number generated.

I'm not condemning anything or anyone: this is as innocent as the office pool, but it's on the internet and if any government agency wanted to make a fuss about Club Stogie, it could point to this as an illegal lottery.
 
this has been talked about with the mods and done before. i think the chance of anything coming from a raffle is very remote
there are a lot more serious things as far as raffles/lotterys goin on elsewhere in the cyber world. i say dont sweat it and enjoy
