Competition time!

I’ve passed a couple of milestones recently and it’s been a while since my last one, so it’s competition time!

Here’s the deal. You post your choice of any one of the following

• a 500 (+/- 10%) word essay on your favorite US President of the 20th century (just FYI, mine is FDR, but don’t let that influence you),
• Douglas Feiths’s planet of origin, or
• a suggested name for our new kitten (he’s about 3&1/2 months old, eats like a pig, and solid black except a dusting of white on the tips of the guard hairs on his belly—I’ll post a pic as soon as I get a good one to post).

Only one entry per customer please. The winner will be decided by whomever’s post # comes up first in the Texas lottery drawing on Saturday, Feb 24th. A modest package of cigars will be dispatched on the following Monday morning.
