Cooling a humidor with peltier unit

What do you want to know? Most of the wine coolers that people around here use for humis use Peltiers.

I cool a large foam case, that houses my humidors with two 12v peltiers. For a thermostat I use a circuit I found on the net entitled :

I wouldn't use anything else but a thermo electric cooler(Peltier). Just make sure it is big enough to do the job, and make sure you don't pay too much. Research your options carefully. In my experience small TECs cause too much condensation. Use a huge heatsink, and cooling fins almost as big to help reduce condensation. TECs have no moving parts other than the fans, pretty much trouble free.
