Has anyone ever built a cabinet and used the guts to a vinotemp to cool/humidify the cabinet?

I've been toying with the idea...........would love to hear any feedback from someone that's actually done it.

This sounds like the next project of the day for Shilala!! :tu

i have 4 vinos totally packed, trying to avoid the 5th, so smoking 8 a day to try to keep inventory down:ss. I'm going to cut the doors off of them and put them in a cedar lined closet and see if that works. Nah, better wait for the 10x10 Vinodor. Call those bastages, don't they realize their real market is in the Jungle? I swear I've bought or talked a friend into buying every single one from the Target in Cheyenne Wyoming, Vino needs to hit us with the Humitemp, whasup?

Be careful the wiring for the LCD display is in the door, and you can take the door off with out cutting it off. If you need help just let me know I can give you some pic if you like.

The tec in the back of the vino is all one piece so it should be very easy to remove and put in something else. Or look to buy the parts to make your own it may be cheaper then buying a vino to hack it up. Again if you need help finding parts let me know and I will see what I can do.

do a search for "peltier", I'm sure you'll come up with something, as I know I've seen people do it. Vinotemps use a peltier to do their cooling. I don't know that anyone has taken the control unit, though.
