So I Finally light up a 3 year old Anejo in all its plumy oily goodness, and if you ask anyone that was on skype with me, I acted like a little girl because it was so amazingly good
The Set up
Got my Labtop out on the deck, along with all my Cigar parifanalia and prepared for the light.
Pre light
SMelled amazing, slid the Ceder wrapper off and looked at the plumy good ness. SLiced off the end and the draw was nice and easy could already taste the hints of ceder and dark chocolate. Georgeous Construction.
First light/First quarter
Light it with my Lotus butane lighter, and it light easily and evenly. First puffs were very mild with very little flavor but after that a light cedar undertone with a dark chocalate and pepper taste kicked in, not to peppery but it was there. a suprisingly good mix. The burn was perfect, only one minor adjusment, becuase of my failure to light it in the first place.
half way or so
Still contining with the chocolate but its more of an undertone now. THere is a now a stronger honeyish with a slight almond flavor is the best way i can describe it. THe burn has remained perfect and the draw continues to be consistant as well. Construction has been perfect!
The End
OVer all, This is an awesome cigar. I loved it from start to finish. Its definatly in my top 5, which is a challege to make these days, Especially with 3 years of age, if its this good, its gotta be pretty good even new. Im gonna be looking for more of these.
I highly reccommend these to people
Thanks for reading
