Devil's Weed Review

Maturing Primate
After receiving a three pack of Devil's Weed cigars from Mr. Puro, in exchange for writing a review, I finally got around to smoking one for a review.

The construction of the cigar was top notch. It was well-rolled and the wrapper was very smooth. The pre-light aroma had me excited to torch it.

The taste in the beginning was very earthy. It had a full tobacco taste and was very pleasant and smooth. As I continued smoking, the cigar developed some spice but still retained it's earthy taste. As time went on, it became less creamy and lost some of the spice.

All in all, the cigar was not one of the greatest that I have smoked, but was not a dog rocket. I would give it a 6.5 out of 10.

As a side note, the logo is one of the best elements of this cigar, and I would love to have this Devil's Weed ashtray.

Nice review. Good light smoke. Great anytime of the day. It goes well with a good cup of coffee in the morning!

Luis Molina (the owner) is a great guy! Easy to talk to about anything and has wealth of knowledge about tobacco, hence Devil's Weed and Columbus getting the tobacco from the Indians.

Keep up the good work Lou!:tu

Smoked a corona today from my free 3pack. I had previously had a different size in a blind tasting and enjoyed if very much! Great prelight aromas and beautiful construction. This was a really good smoke. Blend is unique and unlike most others I have tried. If I were still buying NC's this would be on the list!:tu:2

I clicked on the link posted down the page and went to the page with the devils weed cigars. Thats a really cool page. The CAO bratalia artistry of champions box set is one of the coolest things ive seen all day.
