Direction of roll by vitola

I was looking over a box of M2's and noticed they were not all rolled in the same direction. Does this happen in the genuine article or are all M2's rolled in the same direction? How about other brands/vitolas?

That reminds me of how when the toilet flushes is spins clockwise north of the equator and counter-clockwise south of the equator.

But I don't think the same logic applies to the direction of the roll. May be a right hand or left hand difference in the rollers.

I'm looking for a picture...

Ahhh, there it is.

clicky

Some Fuente Between the Lines. A couple of them reverse wrapped. I'd have to side with awhitaker. Probably just depends on the right- or left-handedness of the roller.

Cheers!!

Only half the wrapper leaf is used per cigar. The left side of the leaf (veins down) is rolled left to right. The right side of the leaf (veins down) is rolled right to left.

Thanks Opus, This sounds logical.
