Do I smoke to much? Your opinion.

I'm just wondering if my fellow BOTL think I might be smoking to much. I avg. around 5-6 cigars aday Mon.-Thurs. and probably 7-9 aday Fri. - Sun.. That's a total around 45 - 50 cigars a week. How many do you avg. and what's your daily routine. Here's mine.

Mon - Fri.
1- on the way to work in the morning.
1- after lunch sitting at the table with the guys at work.
1- on the way home from work.
2-3 from 8:00 pm - 2:00 am in the morning sitting in the cigar room playing online poker and watching tv.

Saturday and Sunday

Usually 7 - 9 a day from sunup to sunset. Morning coffee, playing poker online, doing chores around the house and running around town, than hanging out in the cigar room with my buds watchin football, etc.

Your thoughts, opinions, concerns are more than welcome. Think the world of you guys. :tu :ss

If it makes you happy and you can afford, go for it. =)

Personly I go between 3-7 a week. =)

It all depends on you...if I could I would smoke as many as I could in a day but I am lucky to get one in a day..but 2-5 on sat and sun...its your hobby..ENJOY it!!

You sound perfectly normal to me Mike - :tu

I average between 7 to 9 daily. I will say though that since I started smoking the pipes I have cut way back due to the fact that I have at least 7 to 8 bowls a day.

I simply love tobacco - and from the looks of things you do also. So smoke to much? Not by my count - :ss

Mike, you must decide for yourself if you smoke to much. I smoke between 3-5 per week. Mostly on weekends when I have the time to enjoy a fine premium cigar. I am very active and my enjoyment of the fine stogie is not shared by all. George Burns smoked 6 to 7 per day and he lived to a grand old age of 101. So you see, it is not the number you smoke but the overall quality of you life. If you do not have any medical issues then I would say it is up to you. :)

Last few weeks ive been smoking 1-3 a day, but Ive cut back down. Smoke a few a week, and I think this will be even less now with it being cold as shit now.

The last few weeks I've been smoking 1-3 a day,
but I've started smoking more since the cold weather started.

Personally, I believe the health factors can start to kick in after a prolonged period of 5+ sticks a day...but it's all up to you. I can't even enjoy more than 3 a day, and I don't think I could do that for more than two days in a row.

I usually smoke 2-4 a week.

7 cigars a day? I couldn't dream doing that in a week, much less a day. To me, that's just plain overkill, but to each their own I guess. :) Like Irons said, if you can afford it and it isn't affecting your health, then by all means go for it I guess.

To me........it's seems like a lot because I don't know if I could ever smoke that many in a day.

I'd like to smoke on per day, but it works out to where I smoke on the weekends and 3 to 4 per day at that time.

The way I see it is that you only get to go around once as far as I know, so give 'em hell and smoke all you want while you're here. Enjoy life the best you can, and I think cigars contribute a lot to happiness and relaxation for many of us here. Make sure you don't regret a thing. In short, let's get smokey! As far as health concerns go; if you feel fine while smoking that much, then that's great, keep on it, but if it makes you feel like crap, then cut down on it a bit. We're all going to die eventually, and nobody knows when he/she is going to die, so don't live with regrets. I wouldn't worry about cancer; everything gives you cancer these days and you can't predict it so well.
I usually smoke anywhere from 2-5 per week. I can't afford to smoke much more during the school year.

I am retired so I have plenty of time unlike a most of you BOTL.

I'm doing about 2 a day right now. I won't be able to do that when I'm living with the future Spousal Unit.
