Just wondering how many people smoke cigars in their cars.

If you do then how do you keep the car from smelling to bad? I don't think it's a bad smell but others that don't smoke might.

Wondering what works the best.

:chk

I do. The smell does not bother me. If others don't like the smell of my car they can walk. :r
I keep a scented dryer sheet under each seat and it seems to keep the stale odor down.

I sat in my truck once and smoked a Cohiba - took a couple of days with the addition of multiple sprays of Febreeze on the headliner and carpet (seats are leather) to rid the smell - I love the smell of a burning cigar but not the aftermath at 7am when I'm driving 45 minutes to work.

:tpd: Almost everyday. Everybody that rides with me can't tell because I use the dryer sheets and Pure Ayre. :ss

I smoke with 2+ windows open ... does it smell? Dunno ... the farts seem to cover up everything else :tu

I do on long drives (about once a week). I keep windows cracked after I park and use Ozium to help with the smell. Never in my wife's car though.

Yes.

I smoke with the passanger and rear windows slightly cracked. I empty the ash tray asap. Anybody should be able to deal with whatever aftermath there is. I've smelt plenty of other offensive odors in other peoples cars.

I did once and it took days to get of the lingering smell. After that, no more for me. I found that I didn't enjoy the cigar as much either.

I smoked in my car since it was new but I don't smoke in my new truck. The car smells of stale smoke and when I turn on the A/C in the summer the stale scent is 10x worse. The headliner in my car turned yellow after a while and it stained in random spots where the smoke drifts up. I'm sure the leather is part of the reason the stale smell stays in there even after I had it detailed but at least it adds to the cars "character". :ss

Your car probably has a filter for the AC. I would guess that if you smoke with your AC or with recirculating in the car then the smoke probably get's into the vents and filters they put in the AC system of some cars.

I'm going to try it for the first time today. I have to go meet a client up at Lake Tahoe (about an hour away) and I want to enjoy a smoke on the way back. :)
