I do once in awhile but my commute is never long enough for a decent sized smoke.

I know when I visited SoCal, MoTheMan picked me up in his car and it didn't smell of cigars at all. In fact I assumed from the smell that cigar smoking wasn't allowed. Then on the drive he hands me a cigar and lights up himself, I ask if he ever smokes in his car, he says sure all the time. I'm telling you this car smelled normal and clean with absolutely zero trace of smoke smell.

I looked at what he used and he uses one of the automobile ozonators. He said they run a few hundred bucks but I was very impressed with it. :tu

I smoke with the AC on and the window wide open. Don't notice any smell, but then again I only smoke on trips--say 2 hours or more. I do those about 2 or 3 times a month, so it's not like I smoke in it daily.

Somebody brought up a good point. I find that if I have the blower on, less of the stale smell lingers, since air is moving through it while I'm smoking.

I smoked a La Requeza last night on my drive home from meeting with some clients. It's a 90 minute drive and it was the best drive I've taken in a long time!!! :)

Kept the windows cracked or down and just kicked it. Good times.

I do not smoke in my car. Yesterday I rode out to a lake for some fishing with my dad in HIS car and he smoked (a cigar I gave him) the whole way. The weather and his level of crotchityness at the moment dictated only a slight crack in the sunroof.

I coughed the whole way.

I like cigars, but can't stomach inhaling the smoke.

I have once or twice but I find it very difficult to do so as I drive a stick shift.

Cigar is usually in my left hand, so that never bothered me.

I smoke in the car all the time. I prefer to do it with the top down so there's no issue of lingering odor. If that's not an option, then a cracked window, the ac, and a dryer sheet will do the trick.

I do on particularly long drives (usally only on something longer than 6 hours). I do the 'drivers window cracked' routine, as well as emptying the ash tray at every gas stop (something I do VERY frequently). I keep a large bottle of febreeze in the back seat, but what really covers the odor, is when the dog takes a run in the rain, then hops in the truck for the really long drives.

Usually, I fire up an episode of Dogwatch Social Club, and I've found that I enjoy it a lot more while smoking. The activity of smoking the cigar also helps to keep me awake and focused as the trip gets later and later.

I do, but only when I'm out of half n' half/milk for my cigar coffee or when the B&M closes up before I'm done. Hold it with my left hand so I can shift and keep the windows cracked. I'm the only one that'll ever smell it, but it's pretty rank. Two-seat small truck + cigar smoke + man farts = no bueno :hn

It's all about getting the airflow correct with the floor vents and the driver side window
…and of course the Cigar Bobken Cup Holder Ashtray <click

For the after odor I stop by Starbucks and grab a few bags of the free coffee grounds and let them hang out in the back of the car for a couple of days before depositing them in the compost pile for the garden. Coffee beans are great odor eaters.

Just wondering how many people smoke cigars in their cars.

If you do then how do you keep the car from smelling to bad? I don't think it's a bad smell but others that don't smoke might.

Wondering what works the best.
