The only cigars i have ever had for some reason have been mild and im getting fed up with them. They have hardly any flavour so im going to look into getting a few bolivar.

Any thoughts

Please Al, this is a nice medium type cameroon stick. Nice flavors, will not kill you, but you still get lots of flavor!!! I keep telling you, ya gotta gain more smoking experience with my faves!!!

My limited experience is that a Quality mild cigar is very enjoyable. The better the cigar the more I enjoy the smoke. My:2

Define what you mean by "mild". There are many "mild" smokes that are full of flavor and many "strong" smokes that are one-dimensional.

Sure. I try to mix up up strenghts and flavors depending on my moods and wants at the time. Nothing wrong with a mild cigar at all as long as there is good flavor. That's what I'm looking for--flavor.
:ss

It's interesting, I have had the same thing with mild cigars too. After a while mild meant something bland. I have stepped up to medium and really enjoy those better. Bolivars are on the opposite end of the spectrum so get ready for some culture shock. :)

I'm a fan of mild sticks...but lately I've been craving something stronger...IDK why but I sat out last night after a jog, my cohiba pequenos made me want a bigger kick.

Hmmm sounds like you need a Gurkha Nepalese Warrior.

Volt,

I checked for those stogies on CI and I found the Gurkha Class Regent Nepalese Warrior....is this the same smoke that you are talking about? I always love a flavorful smoke!!

Thanks!!:ss

I love mild cigars, good for in the morning or late at night, something to have with your coffee to just harmonize with it.

Mild is in the eye of the cigar holder, but I found a La Aurora Sapphire to be mild but VERY tasty. When I think mild, I think lower flavor but very smooth. I have also found that mild cigars are smooth and tend to be consistent from start to finish. YMMV.

Actually Peter he was defining what he meant by mild... I consider Avo 787's mild... but, I love them they are certainly not bland. So, what he is talking about is different from our version of mild.

Makes perfect sense now.
My apology for the misinterpretation.
