Does anyone not like Padron?

Out of all the cigar companies out there I think that Padron is the only one that everyone likes. Even talking cigars at the cigar shop, I can't recall one person every speaking out against Padron's.

So seriously, does anyone not like Padron?

I've often wondered the same thing.

For what it's worth I've liked every Padron I've had. But my opinion shouldn't rank very high because I like some Gurkhas and dislike some DPG's, so I'm not the trendy cigar smoker :r :bn

I don't looove them, but I don't not like them

:tpd:

That sums it up for me... I will smoke them if they are gifted to me... but I won't go out and buy them. To me they are way overpriced. If they were half the price I would buy more... but as they are I have only smoked 1-2 padrons this entire year so far... and probably 30+ fuentes and 30+ CCs and lots of DPGs lol... so you can see what I prefer... :tu

I really like the 64's and 26's, but the regular line is just okay. I still wouldn't go as far as to say I don't like them.

Kinda the same sentiments here....I'm a fan of the '26 and '64 lines, but for the price, especially in CA, I prefer to go to the dark side. Just more bang for my buck.:ss

The only really negative things I've heard are 1) the prices for the anniversary series and 2) too strong for some. Given, the prices are crazy high (especially the 80 year) for 64s and 26s, they're exceptionally good smokes. I've yet to have an anniversary I haven't liked. The regular line is decently priced and they've got an excellent naturally aged maduro-- you can't really go wrong with a Padron. I will say though-- the regular line has the ugliest band in existence lol.

I'm not a huge fan either. While I do like the 64, the flavors seem very refined and well balanced, it is just not what I go looking for on a regular basis. So add me to the list of people who are not crazy about them but do enjoy them from time to time.

They are ok... I haven't had any of their expensive lines. A couple of 2000's, a plain and a maduro. They seemed kind of one dimensional to me and they were a little strong. I prefer something from Partagas or Fuente myself.

I am not a fan of Padron, I have smoked several and they do not impress me much. I have had only one aged 3000 that was worth smoking. The rest have been quite mediocre.

I smoked a x000 maduro awhile back and was disappointed. Since then my palate has matured and I've smoked a few PANs and PAMs and loved them. I smoked a Padron Londres the other day and it was great so I think I'll have to revisit their regular line.

this is the equivalent of asking
"does anyone her not like sex"

Sure from time to time it will be just so so and other times awesome. But you'll never go. Man that sucked.

No love for the X000 series but not bad either. Wouldn't really buy them as I like others better. The rest are non players due to cost. Every now and again I'll buy the 1964 Principie for a treat. Never tried the 1924 series.

I don't know about that... how about Oliva? Seems sooo many people here recommend Oliva when asked their favorite stogies. I picked up two of their series and am looking forward to trying them based on all the good word I've read here. Still haven't seen any bad comments on them.

The maduros in the regular line are one of my fave maduros. I picked up a box about a month ago of the 2000. I think I am going to have to have one tonite.

I agree that the regular line is good, but not blow you away, best ever cigars (but they are also priced accordingly). However, I love the 64s and due to the 26's price, I haven't tasted one yet. Anyone have a few extra 26s that they would like to trade?

I have only tried the regular line, no 64 or 26. I really like them but usually find the draw a bit tight until they sit a year or so. Then they are great! The londres/delicias/2000 are a great bargain at less than $4 especially with all the $8-10 smokes that are not as good.

On my way to work I sometimes stop at a local liquor store to buy a Padron Second for $2. The seconds are the only Padrons Ive smoked and theyre pretty tasty.
