Does anyone not like Padron?

I am not a Padron fan either, I have tried several different sizes in the x000 series and the 64 and none of them have really appealed to me.

Not terrible just not for me.

I live in Canada and have smoked many a dark side blend in my day and loved most of them - except toward the tail end of the boom - but I have also enjoyed some Dominican blends.

For example I had a wonderful aged Opus X corona, which is a size I generally avoid, and very much enjoyed it. I also enjoy the regular series Padron smokes.

On a recent business trip to Orlando I smoked my first '26 which was the one CA had rated so high recently as it turns out. It was the closest thing to sex on fire I've ever encountered and was one of my top 3 cigars ever. Period. :ss

So in closing I would be on the side of the ledger of the many fans. :D

I'm using that analogy from now on!

Other than the PAMs I find their smokes absolutely boring. And the PAMs are way too expensive. I won't buy any Padrons.

Oliva though is one I always reccommend though.

Oliva is o.k. but it still remains the only cigar to have ever bored me into smoking something else.... like a padron 64 exclusivo maduro....now that's flavor country =)

I have had a couple of the 2/3000s and I really love them. The first cigar I smoked with LT was a Padron with maybe some age on it? but it was amazing.

Honestly, I don't really like 'em. Granted, its been awhile since I've had them but I've had several 2000s, 3000s, 4000s, and some Londres and I just can't get into 'em. Maybe I'll retry them again soon and see if my palates ready for 'em. Who knows. One thing I can say is you can't argue about the price on 'em.

Next time I buy some smokes, I may have to pick up a Padron. I've never tried one, or a Pepin for that matter. Those two brands always seem highly spoken of here though so they are on my list.

The anni's are amazing... though the regular line does nothing for me, and they will never be a cigar i will pick out of the humi and go search for them and say... Hmm.. this is going to be AMAZING :tu
the value is there... but not the enjoyment from me...
Though my anni stash is extremely low so my Search for THESE will begin :ss

I love them. Used to think that if you didn't have Padron in the humi, you were not a cigar smoker! Ha!
They are a little pricey, for the price of one Principe 64, I can get 2 CAO Pirannahs. Go figure....

Big fan if Padron is followed by Anniversary and then either Natural or Maduro. If it is Padron followed by a number and then three zeros, you can keep them all for yourself. :tu

I was going to include Oliva in this but then I remembered that they make the Nubs.

I've only had one, which I enjoyed, but many people do have an issue with them.

I think all of them are stellar. The best smoke I have ever had is a Padron Serie 1926 40th Maduro........incredible.

Not something I reach for. Don't have a single one in my humis. Even the 80th didn't blow me away. The Thousand Series are ok but there are several Nic puros I like way more.

I guess what I'm saying is that I don't love Padron. :D

I like them but then a cocoa, chocolate, coffee flavor profile hits my sweet spot just right. I could see how if you didn't care for those flavors that you may not find Padrons attractive. Kind of like me with the black pepper. I hate it.

I don't like Padron Of the Padron's I've had Their anniversary cigars taste just like their 8 buck cigars. I haven't ever had a Padron I liked, but then again, I haven't had many.

Padron's are disgustingly awfully wonderful cigars!!! Especially Anni's and Maduros!!!

I hate loving them so much!!!
