Does the taste come back??

Does the taste of a cigar come back after it was dried out,then rehydrated in a zip lock bag with a sponge for a month? Am I better off to throw them out and start again. They taste like hot smoke.

if they have "dried out" as you put then I throw "them out".. life to short to smoke a nasty cigar.. :2

If you put them in a ziplock with a sponge when they were dehydrated, you might have overhydrated them as well. Smoke one and see, and if it sucks, consider it a lesson learned and get yourself a humidor and some beads. :2

If they are now rehydrated and still taste bad, i would say its time to give up...after a while the oils will evaporate and then there is no bringing them back...if you catch them soon enough it should be possible to rehydrate a cigar and still have it taste "OK"...
