Well, a while back I did a split with Vin (massphatness) on some DPG Blues.

He sent this note along with a couple of tag-alongs, and yesterday I lit up the Don Lino Africa!

This cigar WAS :)ss ) the petit corona sized Don Lino Africa, and it packed a lot of flavor from the start! It cut nicely and I had no problems lighting it (or so I thought). The draw was good, and the construction was excellent.

I really enjoyed what I thought was a woody taste coming through the cigar, although I still have a newbies palette so take that with a grain of salt. If anything, this smoke ended too quickly.

Additionally, I think my ineptness in lighting it caused it to tunnel. I saved it (I think) before the problem got worse, and smoked it to the end!

Smokin' one right now. Was in some delightfully yellow cello. Perfect for a warm evening out on the porch.

Every Don Lino Africa I've had was a good smoke..

There are some out there though who have had some bad ones and give them a thumbs down.

My only complaint with them is they are a little over priced.

i need to revisit this stick. the one i had was the mot unique tasting cigar i had ever had. that was not a good thing either. reminded me of smoking turpentine. Have another one that has been aging a while. Odd to as i love cammies. I actually pitched this stick 1/2 way. I love full flavor/body sticks but this was just notmy deal. Will try it again this week.

The old Don Lino Africa was different (and imho, better) than the new line. I think the aged ones folks are smoking are the old line.

I am hoping that age will help the new ones.
