IMO Pepins thrive at the 60-65% range. If your humi is at 70 I think all your Pepins will feel wet/tight/plugged. If that's not the issue I'd bet it was just a bum roll, and the next one will be better.

I think I will take your advice with my next buy :ss. I want to make sure I get a stick with a good draw for my next smoke.

On the other hand, I also want to see if this smoke is plagued with tight draws :hn

The JJ is definitely my favorite DPG. It blew me away from the first puff. I've only tried one JJ Mady so I'm holding off judgement.
:tpd:One of my fav's in the DPG line! Didn't have any draw issues with mine, but I keep my sticks @ 65 and give 6 months rest to all my DPG's! Nice review!:tu

I had the robusto size this morning. I absolutely loved it. It is a little pepper bomb. I will definitely pick up some more of these.

I like Pepins too, at least the ones I've tried. I have not smoked one of the JJ Maduros yet but I have one in the humidor. I have had some tight draw issues with the brand at times.

Great review and pics! I really liked the Maduro version over the natural myself. Very tasty!!

I've had two of these and omg the pepper. So far, it's just too much for me. Letting the rest sit in the humi for a while. Do they ever mellow out?
