Ebay humi?...Should I?

Just reading a section of their item description, I came across this bothersome statement.....

"In order to provide savings for our customers and get the same value, portions of our humidor interior are made of cedar wood. Once the humidor is closed everything inside is sealed. The cedar smell will remain in the box giving positive effect on the flavor of your cigars. Therefore there is no need to make the inside of the humidor completely of cedar."

Take it for what its worth. :BS :BS
 
Well I took everyones advice and stayed away from the ebay humi's!...I ordered the one from holt's that was mentioned in this thread. I check out the tread related to the sale of these and sor $20..it seemed to be a great deal...so what if there is a scratch here and there!..it's aged already!....hahaha....All the people that replied to that tread sounded pretty happy so hopfully I will be too! Thanks for all your help!...I'll stick to buying my car parts off ebay not cigar stuff!:z

My $20 humidor from Holts just came to the the door. Man, all I can say is this is one of the best deals I have gotten in a while. The thing was in PERFECT condition. I don't know where the "slight blemish" is, but I couldn't find it. You wil be very happy with it. I can't wait to stock it now!!
 
I recieved my humi from holts on thursday and seasoned it and now have switched over!...This thing is awsome!....I can't beleive for $26 to my door!...It seems to be holding % great!...I was so excited I stopped at our local shop and bought $50 worth of sticks to throw in with the rest of my collection...Thanks for all your help guys!!!!:ss
 
I hope you didn't pull the trigger. I bought this same one when I was a noob. It sits almost empty because it sucks...it has become the "flavored stick" holder. I'm ready to give it away or sell it at a yard sale.
