El Tiante Cigars - Met Luis Tiant

Elder Jungle Leader
I had the honor of meeting Luis Tiant, former pitcher of the Red Sox, and namesake of El Tiante cigars last night at Fenway. He happen to be standing next to me along the Green Monster! He also use to live down the street from my grandparents. I mentioned that he has to expand his cigar line to include Lanceros an Coronas.

I think he was quite suprised out of everyone who has asked him to take a snap or sign something, one person is commenting on his cigars.

That World Series ring is pretty friggin' blinging! Wow. He's a real class act and Boston icon.

I've met Luis at a few events now and he is one of the nicest guys you could ever meet. He loves to chat and tells great stories (albeit long ones quite often). Whenever he can he always has a cigar hanging out of his mouth.

Not a huge fan of his cigars though. They're just not my flavor.

That is why I suggested changing them some. Hate to see him miss the boat on Lancero, Lonsdale, and Corona's coming back. Not much for CT shade either. It rolls awesome, but is tasteless.
