Ever Had A Cigar You Didn't Want To End?

I had one yesterday. A Cohiba red dot robusto but it was so great I thought, "Wow, I wish this one wouldn't end!"

Maybe it was part of the zen of the moment or what have you but it was mild and just a great smoke.

What is yours?
 
My latest one was a few weeks back. It was an Onyx Vintage 1997 that's been aging in my humi for over 3 years and had some plume on it. It was so tasty and everything about it was just right.
 
One that stands out in my mind was a CAO Sopranos Edition torpedo. Although they had evloved, the flavors remained complex and wonderful until my fingers began to be singed. While I didn't have a second Sopranos, I was tempted to light up another cigar immediatley afterward.
 
I would have to go with the Party Short. I always smoke them when I don't have a lot of time to spend on a cigar, but they taste so good, I wish they would burn for hours.
 
OH yeah... this was the best in a while, one of CigarGal's Robaina's, on a cold, wet Seattle summer afternoon while
working with Nic on the small motorcycle's rear wheel bearings...

For me it's way less of the actual cigar as the context and company (this can go in several directions). I've had some great conversations over cigars, and as the cigar wound down the conversation wound down and I just wished it would keep going on forever. Often I'll sit on my back porch with my fiancee and we have really intimate time together while I have a cigar and we enjoy some wine. I wish that cigar would never end. Sometimes I'm content being alone on the back porch, and know that when I go back inside all the troubles of the day will come rushing back in force. I wish that cigar would never end so I could enjoy that quiet place for a while.

The cigar in any of the above could be a Sir Winston or a Famous Nic 3000 - it's been those and everywhere in between. Obviously I have to enjoy the cigar to not want it to end, but plenty of different cigars have filled that role.

Ditto.
I simply don't have enough time these days to waste 1+ hour on a cigar I don't enjoy. If it's not appealing to me within the first 5 to 10 mins, it's heading to the composte bin. Otherwise, I always wish it wouldn't end.

Very good point indeed. I had one last night, good conversation with a buddy and the owner of the restaurant where we were having drinks (he let us hang out at the front door with our drinks out on the sidewalk so we could smoke).

I had introduced my buddy to my favorite cigar shop (Huckleberry's in Rolling Hills, CA) and he bought us Oliva Master Blends 3's to smoke and they were AWESOME. One of the best I've ever smoked and one of the only cigars I've smoked to the nub, wishing it truly would go on and on. Amazing for me, since I normally don't like such big cigars (it was a churchill) and I rarely smoke a cigar beyond 2/3.

Great flavor, aroma, smoke, burn and beautiful ash. My humidor's pretty full but damn it, I want me more of those!
