ever heard of black pearl

the black pearl robo is a criollo wrap, med/full, earthy w/a tang to it after 2 yrs rest-they're good fresh too-the standard La Perla Habana is one of the few Indonesian wrapped sticks i like

I have enjoyed the Rojo and the Morado enough to make a purchase that included some of their Rojo coffee beans that I enjoyed as well. I think I have a photo someplace around here… oh yes, there it is. Here <click

I think I got a great deal on an introductory sampler. :D

I'm a finicky smoker (hate most CAOs and Gurkhas), but for a sub $5 cigar, the rojo and morado are two nice sticks, IMHO

I received a Black Pearl Conga this morning in one of the supposedly 2 to 5 yrs. aged 'grab bag gold' samplers from Atlantic. Will try it this afternoon and report back.

I had one and did a video review on it. Not too bad of a cigar. One of my B&Ms had an event with them.

I'm a real big fan of this brand. I got hooked on them a couple years ago when the devil site was pumping out 5'ers for dirt cheap seemingly every day. Agree with most, the Maduro's are fantastic, and I've gone through a couple boxes each of the Rojo and Cobre. The Cobre probably gets my nod for fav, because it's a great morning smoke. I haven't tried the newer Morado line yet, but Atlantic is throwing in 2fer free with the box of Cobre's I just ordered (they have La Perla Habana lines all on sale now), so I look forward to trying that as well.

Nice...

The local B&M caries their whole line. The owner swears by them as well as a few of the more regulars, I've yet to try one though.
