Famous Dominican and Nicaraguan opinions

Newbie in the jungle
I was thinking about trying Famous Dominican and Nicaraguans and wanted to get some opinions. Your thoughts?
 
The only one I've had, thanks to suggestions from the Jungle dwellers, is the Famous Nicaragua 3000. Quite a good smoke for the money, especially if you
(a) buy them when they're on special, &
(b) let them sit at least 6 months.

Agreed. I bought a bundle of the Nic 3000 about 8 months ago. Last week I pulled one out and it had gotten even better with age. A little peppery at first and then settled into a coffee/cocoa taste. It was a lot better than when I first got them.

The Famous Nicaraguans have been discussed at length on this and other sites. In summary, the 3000s are definitely worth buying, especially if you can afford to hide them from yourself for a year or two.
 
Dominican 1000 = :pu

Dominican 2000 = meh

Dominican 4000 = :tu

Nicaraguan 1000 = :pu

Nicaraguan 3000 = tha BOMB DIGGITY with 1 year in the humi



Those are all I've tried.
 
The N3K Torp is my go-to
The N1k is a good too, but needs more time in the humi.
The domincan 2000 is a fine smoke for the money, IMO. But like the others, give them some time.
 
Nobody at CS seems to talk about the Famous Private Selection Nicaraguan Corojo. I'll put them right up there with the N3Ks. I haven't tried any others though. Famous PS Nic Corojos are also on sale right now Buy One Get One (BOGO). I rec them highly.

I tried these on your rec and like them alot. Medium body, but one of the strongest nicotine ass kicks I've had. :w
