Favorite Maduro

Cigar Lover 101

Don't know if this has been done already or not but here it goes.

I'm just curious what everyone's favorite Maduro they have ever smoked?

Mine is the PAM 1964 Imperial, also known as Padron Anniversary Maduro 1964 Imperial.

One I'm curious to try is the Cohiba Magicos. I hear they are pretty darn good, but they seem a bit small in size for my tastes.

Size matters in some things, and not in others. The even smaller Secretos are great IMO, and are a great size. Sometimes, often times for me, I want a smaller smoke. Smoke two small cigars, like I did tonight ( RASCC and a Tat petit in that order), and get more complexity than most larger cigars in the same time and similar cost (maybe not if one is a Secreto):r. Anyway, if you're against smaller smokes 'just cause' then I say great, ore for me. :D

Also, to address some comments I've read about the Secretos; just be objective - don't expect anything, just smoke it as if you had no idea what it was or what it was 'supposed' to be and evaluate it that way. Comparing it to NC maduros or other Cohibas is doing it a disservice IMO. But again, more for me.:ss

For a semi cheap smoke I find that the Punch Maduro or double Maduro are a great cigar!

I just tried a shorter version of the punch maduro and was loving it, just wished I would have grabbed two or a bigger one.

Magicos is a Robusto sized, maybe slightly bigger. You are thinking the Secretos I believe.

And I'd have to say its a three way tie between the Magicos, Genios and Secretos for me. Three of my favorite Cohibas (and lord knows I love Cohibas).

The Maduro 5's are good and I would highly recommend the EL Piramides as well. Take a loan out against your home and pickup a few. :)

I have tried the Padron 2000 and 6000 and loved them.. will definitely have to put the PAM 1964 Imperial at the top of my list of want to tries :cb

My favorites so far are Oliva G and 601 Blue. I have several Padrons waiting to be smoked so hopefully they're as tasty as everyone says they are.
