First Cigar Of 2008

An entire bucket of Phillie Strawberry Blunts!

No, I'm not kidding....I plan on smoking all 50 of them tonight.

And then dying.

I really do not plan in advance... perhaps an AVO 22 tonight, or an AVO 77, maybe a Parti 898 Varnished... who know, what ever screams out the loudest...

I'm with my pal Fenton on this one. I do believe I'll start off the night with an AVO 22, or at least when I know I'll have a few hours to really enjoy it. I'll bring along many for my night will be filled with poker, pool, booz, cigars, and what else may come my way.

I'm thinking I will smoke tomorrow at my B&M and bring with me a nice La Aurora Preferidos Tubos Sapphire. I have been wanting to try one and I picked some up off of CBID for less than half of the price at my B&M. Should be a nice stick.

For round 2, I will probably try something I haven't had also. Maybe a fuente King B.

Enjoy your smokes and have a happy new year my fellow BOTLs and SOTLs. :ss:ss:ss

Well, the first cigar I had was an Oliva with a black "felt like" label and gold trim that I received from my Super Secret Santa. Pretty tasty rascal even though I can't say I've ever seen this label or cigar before.

RYJ Escudos Edición Limitada 2007 This was my choice for my New Years 1st Smoke. I will review later as I am now enjoying a quiet moment.:ss

I smoked a Rocky Patel Fusion, cleansed my palate with a smooth cup of coffee, followed by a Rocky Patel ITC 10th Anniversary, with my trusty dog by my side on the patio. Patio Heater next to me to keep me warm in the 44 degree temperature this morning in Mobile, Alabama. Life is good! By the way, after I took all your advice and bought a digital hygrometer and got my smokes to 65% RH in my Coleman cooler, I got rid of my "Chemical taste" fom over humidification. Thanks for everyone's advice! Ya'll are the best! Happy New Year to all!

Last Cigar of 2007: Padron 1926
First Cigar of 2008: Jose Seijas, and I have a Padron 80th for the bowl games tonight!

no clue yet as to what I'll be smoking... something special, for sure. Gotta start the new year off right! :tu

My post midnight smoke was a Cohiba Maduro Genios. It was a most excellent start to the new year. :ss

Darrell, I would love to get you feed back on the GOF Robusto since I have been getting mixed reviews on the smoke and the draw from this cigar.:tu
Brigey: I love your priorities, especially with God first! The only change I would make is adding Alabama football! Roll Tide! By the way, congratulations on Auburn's victory over Clemson! Great game! I'm looking forward to next year when maybe Alabama can break the 6 game win streak and give your Tigers a more competive game! Have a wonderful & prosperous 2008!
