Found a great lighter

The best I have owned in that it has so far lit every time I pressed the button. I have never had a zippo, ronson, or colibri that would do that. I have owned lighters that cost more than 10 times the cost of this one that didnt fullfill their function as well as this one does.
It aint stylish, but for the price delivered, it beats a drugstore disposable. Nice hot torch, safety, does what a lighter is supposed to do and does it every time. Havent had to refill it yet, but for the price you could afford to throw it away. Delivered with about 1/3 of the tank full. Cost delivered $2.78.

Glad you had good luck with this! I recently purchased about a dozen different lighters from these folks- not including the one you have- and found them to be throw-aways. You really can't refill them- I tried, and they leaked all over the place. Others came broken. I think I have three left. So, if you buy these(dealextreme lighters) as throw-aways you'll do fine, but I'd just as soon spend the extra bucks and get something that will last!

Well, I havent tried to refill it yet, but will update this thread with the results when I do.

i was looking into a few of these, i just dont know if i need something that can melt glass. are they too hot for stogies? granted i have no clue how hot normal torches go, i just dont hear lighters referred to as being able to do that too often. i think i may just save up for a blazer

Can't beat the price, had a couple over the years and worked well. Bout month ago purchased the Ronson Jetlite and like them, particularyly if intend carrying 1 around, slim and fits nicely in pocket.

Update: The top of the plunger that you press to ignite the lighter came off in my pocket. I super glued it back on and its good to go. Refilled the lighter with zippo butane. The valve on the lighter was a little sticky at first but then worked fine. Right now its full to the brim and lighting every time. I cannot beleive I wasted so much money on lighters in the past when I could have just spent less than 3$ on one of these.

4 Thumbs up!

I've had a really nice Colibri lighter that gave up the ghost within months. I still have several Z-plus inserts that require a pretty regular fiddling and tweaking to keep working.

The best lighters I have are ones that were given to me by a shop owner in Madrid. I think he throws them in with each box bought. They just say 'turbo torch lighter' on a cheap sticker across them but they work like champs. Even on the windiest beach in Islay, I was able to light a smoke. They work every single time I push the button.

I'm through with cool lighters. I just like ones that work.

I bought three of them last year. Have only been using one, to see how long they last. I've been very satisfied, and have refilled many times with the cheap ronson fuel. Great lighter IMHO, and cheaper than a ronson nowadays..

I too have purchased some DE torch lighters and have mixed luck at best. They will work for a while and then I pick it up for a touch-up and they won't light. Anytime I go out with one, I feel like I need another lighter as a back-up. Needless to say, I don't use them anymore.
Glad you have had good luck
