In the recent bombing raid on me I was gifted 3 Fuente Opus X's, one of which came from felloe gorilla HURRICANE 6. Thank you soooooooooooooo much for this stick. Below is a review....pictures first because pics tell the story!
This cigar was beautifully wrapped right out of the glass tube.
The initital lighting was tasty.......and spicey enough on the nose exhale to almost make my eyes water. I knew I was in for a treat :tu
As the cigar progressed it became smooth, creamyish, and and a thickness to the taste that made it leathery. Kinda a cameroonish, mild spicey, creamy flow......very delightful.
The burn was near perfect....never needed a touch up. The draw was, well, just the way a good quality cigar should be....easy.
The silky, smoothyness began to disappear with about 2.5 to 3" remaining when the cigar took on a mind of it's own. A spicey mind of it's own that is. If you like a little cool spice flavor jumping around on your pallet, you'll love this.
As you can see by the last pic I just about nubbed this rascal (and the pin stuck deep into my finger was starting to hurt - LOL). At that point it began to get HOT on my lips and I ended the hour and a half long experience with this lancero beauty.
I recommend this cigar to all lovers of the leaf.
As far as a score? I'd give it a 9.4 out of a possible 10!
Thanks again HURRICANE 6!! (and to all those who hammered me :tu )
