Ok question here... im a big fan of gran habano... never tried the 3 siglos line so ive been keeping an eye out for a deal on cbid.... now they have the regular 3 siglos for a somewhat ok price... then they have whats called "gran habano 3 siglos fumas" descriptions seem to be the same.. only 2 differences is that the regular ones are boxed.. where the cheaper "fumas" are bundled... and under the gran habano label instead of saying "3 siglos" it says fuma... is this the same stick???

They are very similar as they use the same tobacco's. I think the fumas are not quite as strong. GH also makes fumas of the #5 for only $20 a bundle. :ss

I am not a person who turns his nose at fumas. There are many very enjoyable cigars made sandwich style.I would not buy the 3 Siglos Fuma though. They were spongy and burnt poorly so I tried dry boxing them to make them more smokeable; unfortunately afterwards they were harsh and acrid. I also want to say that I really love the regular 3 Siglos line, and the 3 Siglos Fumas taste nothing like them to me.

If you like Gran Habanos cigars look at their bundled brand GR Specials for your cheap cigar fix. There are 2 different blends (Red and Black) and you can get them for around $30 per bundle of 20.

There are some interesting videos about Gran Habanos cigars here: http://www.cigarlivevideo.com/channel_detail.php?chid=1

No, they are not really the same stick as noted by my fellow Gorilla's above. Same tobacco but I think the blend or taste profile can vary a bit from the true premium stick. Perhaps from gathering up all the leftovers to make the sandwich makes for a slightly different blend. heheh.

Ah, Gran Habanos. I love the entire line. From mild to medium plus (not full in my opinion) I can easily select a fair priced good tasting cigar.

I do enjoy the fumas. Both the 3 Siglios and the Gran Habano Corojo #5 Fumas. Both can have a cigar or two out of the bundle that draws poorly or even too easily. However, for the value and flavor, I keep buying them.

I've got several bundles of Gran Habano Corojo #5 Fumas and 3 Siglios Fumas on hand I've gotten off the CI and devil site. I find the flavor of the #5 fumas to be the same as the regular #5. The 3 Siglios fumas has a milder taste and slightly different taste profile than its high dollar cousin.

Buy them and enjoy them! :ss
