Heavy Metal Jesus
Well finally here in Iowa we have had a day of pretty warm weather and I am actually off at the same time. So what would any self respecting BOTL do? Grab a beverage of choice and a nice cigar and head outside of course!
It was a bit overcast but the weather report said no rain until late tonight so I grab my very first Monte #2, a Dt. Dr Pepper (I may be the only German you ever meet that does not like the taste of alcohol...lol) and head to the back deck. I light the bad boy up and get about 2 inches into it when all of a sudden the sky just opens up and starts pouring. I get underneath the overhang and keep puffing away. I am not giving this bad boy up that easily. Well after about another inch I am starting to lose my patience and just look up at the sky and say "Really? Give me a break...this is my FIRST Montecristo #2. Show a BOTL some compassion."
Well lo and behold the rain stops, the sun peaks through and for the rest of the smoke it is perfect. This could very well be divine intervention.
Do you think if I had been smoking a Philly Watermelon I would have been struck by lightning? :r
