Gonna Build Me A Humi

Well, I've decided to build myself a humi while at work next shift. We call them hommers, so far there is no ice to break and the boss has to have something to do plus the ship has a dandy wookshop. I've picked up some 2 tone Black Walnut and some spanish cedar (1/4"). All the wood is 51/2"x 23" > 10 pieces each. Going to glue 2 pieces together each and decide then how long to make it. No staining, just varithane. I'll try and take pics of my progress for posting later.

I bet that thing is going to look beautiful! Is it a dark tone? I looked up black walnut and it ranged from semi light to quite dark (but not ebony).

Same here, but if I make myself a coolerdor, that would mean I'd have that much more space to fill with cigars, which would force me to spend large amounts of money lol
