Any good B&Ms and cigar friendly bars in the area? I'm headed out tomorrow and will be gone all weekend.
 
Bars I don't know, but there's Cigar King in Skokie, which is just north of Chicago. Great store, comfy leather recliners, big screen tvs and wi-fi.

BengalMan told me about this place in Merillville earlier. It's called Karma. Google it. It looks cool as hell, and if you have a car, then it's a very short trip from Chitown to Merrillville.

I'll be movin to Chicago in a month and hope to be able to answer any question someone might have in regards to good smoke shops :)
 
B&Ms like Cigar King, Jack Schwartz, Iwan Ries and Hubbard are your only indoor options in Illinois as smoking is prohibited in all bars and restaurants. Cigar bars are a thing of the past here. :mad:
 
It is a little south, but the Bull and Bear in Naperville is awesome. Cool little town too.

Great guys, tons of smokes, and very comfy.

Sorry guys... even though I need to start heading out there a little more often, I probably won't be getting around to it until late August (at the soonest). This weekend is already shot. A local club is hosting the PGA Championship next week (I'm there two days), and immediately following that, Detroit is going to batten down the hatches for the world's biggest annual automobile event, the Woodward Dream Cruise (it's an absolute blast, and it's freakin' HUGE, boys!!!!... anyway, more on that later...).

I'll drop a line when we get a bit closer, we'll figure out who's gonna be around, and go from there. I also wanna figure out if most of these stories that I've heard about Tom over the last couple of years are true (or maybe I really don't want to know!!)!!! :r

Yeah! And there is a drinking/eating cigar lounge in Aurora area inside the bar The Foundry.

Take the BNSF Metra out to Naperville and walk about 4 blocks south.

Just remember Tom... by the time I get there, Shack Herf IV will already be in the books. You know how the old saying goes... as the stories are passed down, the legend keeps getting bigger... it's as if he were half-man, half-beast!!! :r
 
Was in Chicago in March. Was looking forward to going to Mike Dittka's for a drink and cigar but they put a smoking ban in the 1st of January so no dice.
