I was given an entire box of these as a graduation gift by a well meaning friend with no taste for cigars whatsoever. His grandfather smoked them, so he figured they must be good. I've been avoiding them like the plague for over a month, but I finally broke down and cracked the seal on the box tonight. I'm a sucker for perfecto's of any kind, I guess.
So, I fired one up. This has to be the lightest "Cigar" I've ever smoked. It produced tons of billowy white smoke that seemed to hang in the air forever. Not much in the flavor department other than what reminded me of Lipton Tea. It didn't change much through the entire stick. The ash held on longer than any other machine made cigar I've ever smoked, easily over an inch and a half.
I smoked it to the band and pitched the nub. All in all, it wasnt cremosa horrible, it just didn't taste like anything. Kind of like smoking lipton tea wrapped in a paper bag. Now, what do I do with the rest of the box?
