Great Cigar Lunch With No Cigar Smoking

Hail to the Redskins!
7 of us HP guys work on contract for systems at the White House. Our boss does not work on site but every now and then he shows up to take us to lunch. It was my turn to choose the restaurant. I chose this place

I am the only cigar smoker out of all 8 guys but they all enjoyed the food and my boss bought me a makers mark 10th anniversary for later
 
Sounds like your boss takes care of you. That is always nice. Mine takes care of me too. He's my father-in-law. :D Just gotta keep the wife happy or its :hn for me. :D
 
Sounds like a nice place! I sure hope I can make it down, I'll have to ditch the wife and baby for this one though...
 
Good ole' Shellys! The Alamo of DC smoking in bars...keep supporting them once that smoking ban kicks in, Shelly's will be the refuge for us smokers.

I wanted to go there this past weekend while I was in DC but I didnt really have time to find it, to busy looking at the other sites. Ah crap after looking at the site and seeing their location I was right near it on Saturday when I walked to Fords Theatre and the Peterson House.

Yes I understand on Jan 1st when smoking is banned in DC. Shellys will be able to continue to allow cigar smoking because a certain percentage of their revenue comes from tobacco sales.

Yes, it is about a block and half away from the white house. There is a nice cigar B&M around the corner as well that you might have missed.

Very nice place it looks like. They are voting today on banning all smoking in Houston....we will see. By the way, I'm an HP guy too.

Dang it, oh well I blew all my money on that humidor on friday night not even two hours since we got into the hotel.

Small world. PDS who is the owner/admin of this message board also works for HP. He posted that recently in a where do you work thread.
