Great Cigar

Kristoffs aren't real strong, but there flavor is hard to beat. You're the only other person on the board I've heard mention them.
Where did you hear about them?

I have a couple in the humi that I picked up a few months ago. Need to fire one up and see if they are to my liking.
A couple guys at the B&M were raving about them when I bought them.

Hmmm, saw these at the local the other day and didn't think of grabbing or even trying any. Now you bastages have me wanting to try a couple.:gn

I only know of one place to buy them online. Not sure of the rules about mentioning the store. Will gladly tell you if you pm me

They are not Habanos, so sure you can tell.

Two good vendors that carry them on line are Atlantic and Abners. Right now Atlantic has the best pricing.

Cool. I've buying from Black Cat Cigars. They don't have a large selection but their prices seem reasonably.
Thanks for the heads up on the other two places. I'll check them out :tu

I had one of these a few months back, it had been resting in my humi for close to two years and was waaay to weak. I should try a fresh one, but the aged one tasted like air with a hint of leather. I did love the look and feel of this cigar though. Smooth oily wrapper with cool packaging and nice elegant band. How strong and flavorful are the fresh ones?

I didn't the mine tonight was very strong. I thought it was smooth and had nice flavor. you can get a nice ash too.

These were only available in select areas for awhile but now they've gone national. Named after one of the Exclusive Cigar guys kids. The Kristoff Maduro and Criollo are really good for mild cigar lovers-- the Ligero just came out keep your eyes open for that. It was really good. Not 'strong' by any means, but definitely a notch up from the original. I have 2 Matadors with tons of bloom already...! PM if anyone wants to try my B&M has them.

I had one of these back a few months ago when I wasn't really sure what I liked, and just asked the B&M guys what they were into. It really has a great presentation and I was really looking forward to it...liked the taste until at the 2 inch mark the entire thing unwound. It was surreal. I don't mean a split wrapper or a little loose, or slowly peeling--in one second the entire wrapper unspooled and fell to the ground.

I'll have to go buy some more now that I see everyone else is backing them up.
