This has been a great cigar New Year's and it's not even over yet. I have found a new "best cigar I ever smoked" cigar. About 11:35 I went outside and sat in the truck to wait, think about what a great year it was and to look forward to the new one. Thanks to the generosity of some very good friends, I had a tough choice to make. What do I go to? An Ashton Cabinet? An A. Fuente Hemmingway? A LFD Double Ligero? An Opus X? A Don Lindo Africa? A PAM? One of a few ISOMs? Oh, the decisions.
After much thought, I decided to try the Diamond Crown Maxximus. What a terrific smoke! Medium-Full...perfect draw...perfect burn...not to slow, not too fast. Absolutely perfect. Made me forget about being cold and got so involved that I really didn't know when the New Year came in. Thanks Joey, it was a wonderful smoke!
I also had another smoke today that I have never heard of before...although I guess a lot of people have smoked them. It was called a Diesel and I understand it is a RP blend. This one was a maduro. It was a very good medium smoke and had a great flavor. Thanks Shaggy!
