Wow, ok, I am not going to rant or do a giant diatribe, as I don't want to bring down my fellow BOTL (and you SOTL) but I have been having one of those days when you wake up and you just want to hurt someone. (Not really, cause I don't want to hurt anyone, but you get my meaning)

Anyways, today called for a cigar, or two, so I went to the local B&M picked up two Maxx cigars (small short ones) and two RyJ Habana reserve. Now, I enjoyed the Maxx cigars, even though it had burn problems. thats the nature of there cigars though. anyways, I was calmed down and about an hr later I decided to have the RyJ cigar. Oh my god, this cigar has so many problems. Never in my life has a cigar been such a pain in the butt.

First I cut my cigar and pre toasted, as per usual. then I tried to light with my matches and turned it around trying to get the whole thing like you normally would. problem, my cigar wouldn't light except for straight up the middle. My brothers began to unravel and he had lighting problems as well. I then tried to use a lighter and light the edges, still wouldn't light. it got to a point where I felt like I was smoking a jalepeno, trying to get it lit. I cut the foot, only a small way, tried a relight and still got the same problem.

Now, I was wondering, what could cause this and whose attention do I need to bring this to, the local B&M or the company that makes these? Because I know for a fact it wasn't an error on my part.

I don't actually expect my money back, or anything else in return (although that be nice to get the 12 bucks back :ss) but I feel this needs to be brought to someones attention to avoid others wasting there money.

Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated. Anyone else here have problems with these cigars? Should I chalk it up to a loss?

P.S. Sorry if I came off ranty, not my intention.

P.P.S I can post pics of the cigars if need be.

Did you let it rest any outside a humidor for a couple of hours? I usually never smoke a cigar within a week of buying it. But I did once but let it sit out about 2 hours before smoking it because it felt a bit too wet. The B&M might have jacked his humidity up recently. The wrapper, binder, and maybe some of the outter layers of the filler may have sucked up most of the new moisture and therefore wouldn't burn. Just a thought, still a newbie myself though so I'll let the "elders" pick up on this one. Sorry you had a bad experience though if that helps any

I was thinking the same thing, but I have bought other sticks and they where fine. idk, maybe its a combination of the B&M messing with the humidity and bad construction. Normally I can buy a cigar from them and it smokes well right then.

Here, have some:blto cheer you up! You can imagine that these belong to a very irritating child and burst them one by one with your stogies from hell.
